I have always thought the offside rule where the player has the puck was kinda dumb.

Like laf should not be able to pull himself offside when being the puck carrier.

Very frustrating, but we made some pretty brain-dead mistakes.

I know there are nuances in the boarding rule, but why wasn't it a boarding penalty against CBJ for the hit on Gus early on? The hit was straight into the numbers, was he too far away from the boards or something?

Definitely. Had a few more breakdowns defensively than you would like but overall it was a good period that should have been better.

Schneider is f***ing useless. Another one of Gorton and Davidson's smartest person in the room picks. Montreal and Columbus is f***ed for the next 10 years with those two running the organization.
