I don't like the top PP unit. Way too stationary. One guy holds onto the puck and the other four guys just stand around waiting for him to do something without instead of moving around to get into position. The PP looks more dangerous when the second unit is out there, yet Hunter stubbornly sticks to the top unit.

Some guys have been ghosts so far, too. That's going to be an issue since this year's squad is more about the depth scoring rather than having that one or two guys who are elite and dominate when you need it.

The first pp should be

Great game by both teams! An epic struggle that both teams fought to win. Russia fought off the tying goal right up until the buzzer sounded. You get the feeling they will meet again in the medal round.

Good win but the job is not even remotely done. Need to keep upping the intensity for the medal round. Alexyev and Romanov look to be top class defencemen in the making which after a long dearth of talent is most welcome on the Russian blue line.

Watch Canada win Gold as the boys were born to do. On home soil is the exclamation point.

Go Canada Go !!

If he wants to be more than Shattenkirk 2.0, he better improve his defensive game significantly. Right now he should be a PP specialist and bottom pairing because he is a liability in his own zone.
Shattenkirk 2.0? Bouchard will be lucky to be John Slaney 2.0 - and that’s with all due respect to John

Watched Bouchard for the first time live almost a year ago to the day and he hasn’t changed one bit

Controller’s not disconnected, defense is his weakness

Hunter and the staff should have seen enough by now to distribute ice time and role by merit, not age. Sadly, that's not the case.
