I get it but keep getting points here and there get hot a bit get wildcard spot. It can be done.
Fine. Let's say Swayman gets hot and drags them, logic be damned to the postseason.

I'm not sure you're aware, but you have to score goals to win in the postseason.

How do you propose they fix that problem?

These are grown men and professionals. Why do they need someone yelling at them to compete? If they are that mentally weak they should be waived.
I saw an interview recently where I think it was Tony Granato talking about team usa and he mentioned he had to be hard on McaVoy all the time to get anything out of him. He said some players like Mac you have to get on all game.

A professional athlete should compete hard no matter who the coach is. I'm not absolving Montgomery of any responsibility, I'm just saying this goes beyond a coach. The players have a lot to answer for.
THIS is why they deserve a REAL SOB behind the bench. These soft whiny "players" need their ass kicked back into reality. Lazy A-holes.

Won’t happen in a post cap world, but in the old days you’d see the B’s make a big trade with another team mired in mediocrity, star for star.
