Here's to hoping the strong play continues.
Can't win 'em all but as long as we bounce back quickly and avoid lengthy losing streaks then our early season success will lead us to a playoff start.
Perfetti looked better last game after a couple of less than stellar games, it wasn't that he was bad but he had a couple of games where most of the plays that normally work for him backfired.
The next time we get a 5 on 3 PP I would like to see him inserted into that top group.
He seems to have better instincts than our vets on using puck movement and changing positions to create chances. With all that extra space he can do some damage.
As much as I like Gagner on our team I think lengthy stays on the top line expose just how slow he is.
So many plays get lost because Scheif and Connor play the puck to space for him and he's never quite there, always reaching. He looked so good as a utility player, with the occasional cameo on the top line or PP1.
Perhaps promoting someone with more speed for a trial would work better? But then again, we're winning most of our games so what do I know.

My guess is he's getting all of the next 4 games given that they are all divisional opponents. That is likely why they started Big save Dave last game.

Jets haven't had a good record against Minny these last few years. Miss Buff even more so when we play against Minny, when he was here he would just bully that entire team and we had a much better record against them.

Assuming the refs are competent, then may I just say God willing he will be.
The last 2 times we played them we won both games , Scheifele had 7 points in those 2 games, hopefully that continues tonight.
