I think this stretch pretty much tells us all we need to know about this iteration of the franchise. Many of us predicted we'd need another rebuild a year ago and here we are. There's plenty of time left in the season to right the ship and lock down a playoff spot but games like this just leave you with zero confidence.

The idea of a re-tool sounds nice but you need assets to re-tool and we don't have a whole lot of that.

It's probably going to take a big shakeup at this point.

If you look at the contracts we have, there’s really not much that can be done. This is the team and it will be until June.

Personally I’d put Greig on the table, or Pinto, but the problem is we can’t take on cap so it’s not like we could move one for an established good player who makes anything.

We’re going to be forced into a retool/rebuild once Brady uses his NMC to force a trade to where he wants this summer.

gotta move on from it being brady's team,

and he just brings the biggest return that can benefit us.

trading chabot, batherson, norris is either impossible or brings a crappy return. and Stutzle and Sanderson are basically the team. which leaves Brady.

You need another gear from your Captain when things aren't going well and he doesn't have it. I'd look to trade him before his NMC kicks in.

Realistically that leaves Bath and Brady. Bath has a great contract and would fetch something decent. Brady would make the biggest splash.

Don’t think so. They’ve played two teams that they have a hard time against in general since.

It’s why they needed to find ways to win against lesser opponents and they couldn’t. So here we are, and now we get Vegas and Vancouver next.
