We're about to virtually match last year's record after 18 games, except we're supposed to have an elite goaltender, better depth, better coaching and better management.

Something is rotten in Ottawa.
It’s not that hard to point out what’s rotten. They’re mentally weak and unclutch. What’s left to diagnose?

Tkachuk, Norris and Chabot can kick rocks

Too much effort for them. They might slightly nudge the rocks. Then when the rocks fail to move, Brady will try to fight them.

Brady is like 2/3 the player his brother is skill wise, terrible shot selection.. If this team had any skilled forwards, he would be a great 2nd line winger.
But some how, some way, some day, some time he will score a goal shooting between his legs and he will therefore be the same!

And people defended him for it and blamed the fans for not supporting the team. Christ almighty. Sickening.

I remember it being more mixed, with a lot of people trashing him for it. But I don't read Twitter.

It seems like that was the point where the rubicon was crossed and people were given a reason not to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Granted, he was doing the right thing and trying to take the heat as the captain, deflecting it on to the fan base who has supported the team through the most difficult ownership in modern league history may not have been a fair or wise move.
