Apparently the Kings embody everything that is wrong with modern hockey. I guess tanking year, after year, after year, after year, after year is what's right with modern hockey.

I watched virtually every game the kings were victimized by a prime Modano. Super fast, great shot but McDavid has both plus another level of quickness. Sorry, it just is. Skates? Please.
 
How many games have they given up 2 in the 2nd? I can't really remember a year when we've been doing it so consistently.

plus lets compare Madano's 2nd season to McDavid not McDavid's 2nd year to Madano's prime. McDavid is only going to get better and he is already a friggin stud.

I think he's definitely quicker but his speed is deceptive. Modano always looked like he was flying and his jersey looked like a cape in the wind; one of McDavid's best qualities is it looks like his skating is effortless and he suddenly emerges out of a crowd going twice the speed of anyone on the ice and stickhandling at high speed like Bure.

I take it you don't have a sportnet feed because they aren't saying **** all about it and the CC is a tool who doesn't say anything positive about the team he is calling for unless they **** skittles and **** a rainbow.

I agree but by quickness I was referring mainly to his lateral movements. Its quite a package of skills.
