Yes and I also remember out shooting teams by large numbers and still loosing. Remember all those years of shoot more shoot from everywhere, we still lost by large and small margins.

I remember the Arniel days. Firing the biscuit and having a dozen awful D zone breakdowns per game. That is not this.

This team can beat the best but when we play the worst team I cant tell which one is ours.

Calgary is 8 - 12 not 2 and 18. And I can tell which team is playing better.

I have a feeling this entire season is going to be a roller coaster. Hot streaks, cold streaks, periods of lots of luck, periods of no luck. Still better than last season.

Wow, I really wonder where the team from a couple games ago went. Play last two games sucked. Passing especially. Shot quality down too and not getting it open to where we are getting people to the net.

I can to and it is NOT the CBJ. The more things change the more they stay the same.

Well the 3rd sucked I'll give you that.

The first 2 were solidly in the Jackets favor.

And ffs, if you start the whole "SOJ" thing again, Viqsi is going to burn you to a crisp. You're letting your associations of losing a single game mix in with everything else from the old team.

Fire everyone! :sarcasm:

That's my optimistic interpretation of what's happened so far.

My pessimistic interpretation is that we had another illusory hot start.

Wennberg reverting back to bad habits. Beautiful 20 ft shot available with men in front and passes it to Foligno

Other than a few games Wennberg hasn't really been shooting more. If anything I'd guess his shot averages are just as low as last year.

Not going to overreact to this one. At least Calgary is in the West. These are games we need to win though. Just a whiff.

The roller coaster is the points and on this board. The team play hasn't changed that much. They got a bit more luck against our division foes and a lot less against the western clubs.

The forecheck was actually very good tonight. Boone was flying, so was Dubi, so was Hannikainen. I didn't expect all that. They'll clean up the transition play next game I'm sure.

I don't know what you are talking about I don't do whatever ffs and soj are about but unless you didn't see the loss on Monday this would be 2 game that also looked just like the first 2 games of the season. So burn away

Yeah, they need a practice.

well, on the bright side, that's the first time we've been shutout this year. took a while this time.

Much rather it been on the road against a legit #1 goalie

8 of the next 11 on the road? Jeesh. Big run there

Not going to overreact but next 8 of 11 on the road... hmmmmmmmm.

We needed points here and it's really as simple as that....

There is a vast difference between trying to reason poooor play, and being realistic seeing that we needed points tonight with the schedule being what is the next 11.

Thank God. At least we seem to play consistently well on the road.

This is what has always pissed me off about CBJ teams. We play great against tough competition, then come up against two teams you would think we should beat at home and totally suck.

Sorry, but I am pissed right now.
