I am starting to believe they don't want to be one of the good better teams. Monday could have moved up by beating a bad team, same tonight and it's looks like the second coming of last years team.

Oh yeah, that last year's team that regularly lossed despite more than doubling up it's opposition with scoring chances. :sarcasm:

Game is kinda frustrating to watch.....feels like they're taking Calgary lightly.
That 4 minute PP to start the 2nd was a godsend, and there was no urgency to them.
Hope the 3rd is as strong as it has been for the CBJ.

I mean, Jackets vastly out shooting these guys and down 1-0? That's hockey. It's why the playoffs are 7 game series. Im perturbed by the first two periods a little bit (PP is underwhelming) but same as last year's team? Come on.

It would be great to jump WAS and PIT tonight but it's so early! Plenty of time still. Y'all are gripping the sticks a little bit I think.

On a side note, could Boone just be out of shape? Man was he sucking wind in his intermission interview!

Yeah, hockey is right. Game of bounces - and sometimes nothing but bounces.

Naw, he's actually skating the best I've seen him this year. Actually getting to hit instead of being too late, imagine!

Here's how it goes down. Torts rips them a freakin' new one in the dressing room. CBJ score early. Then score another one. Calgary pulls the goalie late and we get an empty netter. 3-1 CBJ.

Yes and I also remember out shooting teams by large numbers and still loosing. Remember all those years of shoot more shoot from everywhere, we still lost by large and small margins. This team can beat the best but when we play the worst team I cant tell which one is ours.

Play is getting sloppy again. Where is the poise from a few games ago? Passing crisp, were able to get through the neutral zone, our passes weren't getting picked so much... Night and day almost. Sure we get shots on net but most of them suck.

Jackets looking like they could lose this one. Wouldn't put it past them. Even still, I'm more optimistic than pessimistic. A young team with still some gelling to do.

Then again, I didn't think there was any way DT would win
