I’m following the game through you guys. I’m sure I would be screaming at my tv if I was home but I’m at a bar in Charlotte showing a chiefs/bills rerun. Gotta get a better PP going ton reduce the liberties taken against. Also, play the game you’re handed. Hit, hit, hit and scrum. We’re in Dallas on the road. We’re playing with house money.

41.3 Major Penalty – The Referee, at his discretion, may assess a major penalty, based on the degree of violence of the impact with the boards, to a player guilty of boarding an opponent (see 41.5). 41.4 Match Penalty – The Referee, at his discretion, may assess a match penalty if, in his judgment, the player attempted to or deliberately injured his opponent by boarding. 41.5 Game Misconduct Penalty - When a major penalty is imposed under this rule for an infraction resulting in an injury to the face or head of an opponent, a game misconduct shall be imposed.

Not a match penalty but a clear major and game misconduct. No question.

The coward was afraid to have to eject Benn for whatever reason since it could not be a major alone.

The Bruins need to start using their size and rough them up as much as possible. Can't allow a teammate to get hit like that and NOT respond with great prejudice.

I'm not overthinking anything. I looked at the play and formed an opinion trying to cast aside hometown bias.

If you don't agree with it, that's fine. But I'm hardly "overthinking". Just trying to think with reason.
Most times, the simplest answer is the right answer.

He buried him right in the numbers a dangerous distance from the boards.

Major boarding.
