I have done very similar analysis as you, and have drawn the exact same conclusion. I am pretty sure my lineup is exactly like yours with the exception of Engvall taking the place of Simmonds until SImmonds is healthy. But once he returns, this is how I'd run them. I think Willy with Kerfoot would be something worth looking into. It would give us the ability to role the 2nd and 3rd lines evenly, and would be a matchup nightmare for opposing teams. Optically I know this would look like a demotion for Willy, I just think he might work better with Kerf, and if Sheldon were to role the lines he shouldn't see any less TOI. Especially given the fact that he would be PP2 and get the occasional shift on the top line when Joe gets his rest shift (before TV timeout, end of period, after a PK etc...). This would involve Hyman, and Willy playing their off wing, but that is something they have both done before I believe.

Also, at some point you can't reward bad habits or lack of production with a promotion.
Last year Nylander surprised me with his willingness to drive into greasy areas and make like more difficult for defenders. I'm not even looking at stats, I just see him reverting back to his low percentage perimeter game.
Every D man in the league can handle that type of player unless you're one of the top 2%.

I’m surprised Keefe is still not trying to split up Nylander and Tavares. Both the 2nd and 3rd line seem to be struggling, a switch up there putting Nylander with Kerfoot and Tavares-Hyman never know, could be good. Especially if they bring Robertson back up I would try Robertson-Tavares-Hyman and Nylander-Kerfoot-Soup (or Simmonds once he’s back). Anyway let’s hope they start dominating like they can

Do you think people like Simmons calling their mother to get a quote about injuries? Or making up stories about how they eat hotdogs everyday? That will effect people, they are still human and you don't get that in other markets. Not to mention this sack of shiat leaked COVID details about our players.

Simmons nailed it ha. Truth hurts. For a day. Willy sucks this first quarter of the season. I don’t like simmons but just because it’s him doesn’t mean everyones gets a pass because of who said it,printed it whatever.
