Why Joey Anderson hasnt gotten a second game is beyond me, he plays that Hyman style we're looking for and one of the best 4th line games of the season was the one that he played

After todays game id try

Thornton Matthews Marner
Hyman - Tavares - Nylander
Robertson - Kerfoot - Galchenyuk
Mikheyev - Boyd - Anderson

Spezza as the extra forward

If Galchenyuk sucks swap him and Mikheyev, but I think a playmaker like him playing with a shooter like Robertson could be a good match on the 3rd line. Ideally trading Kerfoot for a better defensive C

One thing I wouldn't be upset to be proven wrong on, Jumbo Joe still being effective and beyond that able to dance on the 1st line. He had great jump last game and what a bonus if he pans out in a serious way.

I guess and win is a win, which this needs to be... but I'd feel a whole lot better if our boys STOMP the Sens tonight. I am looking for at least a 5-1 win tonight.

Would not be surprised in the least if the Sens get the first goal however.

I'm thinking about our forward lines and I see the most success from the first line this year

[Hyman/Thronton] Matthews Marner

What makes this line so effective, other than the amazing skill level is that you have a puck getter, a playmaker, and a scorer.

I would like to see that in the second and third line as well: puck getter, playmaker, scorer.

In this table I am looking at each player and assessing what their best role is out of the three.

With that in mind, I would like to have one primary playmaker, scorer and puck getter in each line as well as one center and two wingers of course. So the lines when healthy would look like:

Robertson Tavares Hyman
Nylander Kerfoot Simmonds
Mikheyev Spezza Boyd

You're welcome Dubas.

Right now at tsn, they saying : "we gon put galchneyk in every night to compete with suckas for spots." That was the clear statement by keefe, check it out at tsn. Galchnekiuk will play for the maple leafs sire.

hey Keefe swap nylander and marner ffs. or at least put Nylander on the line with Kerfoot and put Mikheyev on a line with Tavares to spread out offense.

Why are you trying to fit a squared peg in a round hole?

Why would you mess with a working first line? Swap Nylander with someone that's not on the first line please.

Still not going to start Hutchinson? Andersen is going to be fatigued as hell by the time the playoffs roll around.

Hutch will likely play tomorrow. Leafs probably chose to give Andersen a chance to immediately redeem himself after Monday's laughable effort on his part.

He finna get on that there sire! Like for treals!

We are also going to win this ice hockey game tonight, clearly. Congratulations y'all  Andersen with the W

Disappointed Hutch isn't starting tonight. Is it that easy to make a million bucks in the NHL, that you can be considered so bad the team doesn't want to give you a start? JMJ! lol!

Id do the following lines to test out if we can still get the same production out of matthews and marner:

Hyman Matthews Nylander
Thornton Tavares Marner
Mikheyev Kerfoot Galchenyuk
Robertson Spezza Boyd
I don’t think you can break up Matthews and Marner with how they are playing together. But if you are going to, the Hyman-Tavares-Marner line was incredible in 18-19, would be fun to reunite them.
