I probably jinxed him by saying he'd looked good so far.

But I also feel like that's the Wings new method of trying to break up odd man rushes. Cheat to the guy with the puck and go human zamboni. Instead of "poke and pray" it's "flop and pray." I'm not a fan.

Man this sounds pretty good, especially after that first goal. I may have to follow suit.

I like Bulliet because it's certainly good enough to drink neat, but not SO good that I feel guilty mixing it with Coke. Angel's Envy or a Basil Hayden is pretty much only for Old Fashioneds, Manhattans, or neat. Those are pretty much my 3 bourbons.

Thank god for the Lions. From an entertainment standpoint, I'd much rather watch the Pistons right now too. The Wings are just so not fun to watch so far this year lol.

Pistons right now have the 10th best defense in the league.

Anything by the Coen brothers is usually beautiful. True grit is pretty awesome. I am a big western fan, the Dollars triology with Clint Eastwood is better made than most modern movies.

But...

It's mostly said in frustration right now, but this team is a mediocre roster that's still somehow managing to play less than the sum of their parts.

They shouldn't be setting the world on fire, but they shouldn't look this incompetent.
