If a Trotz or whatever comes in and tries to make them play a "simpler" game the personnel we have just won't do ANYTHING AT ALL then. This is not the group that could have success that way. You can't have a Trotz type with these players.

When your team plays with structure and you know where your teammates are on the ice without looking , you will move the puck quicker. Especially out of your own zone.

If you stop backing up into your own zone every time you can force turnovers and odd man rushes which we must be last in the league in generating

I've been more positive on this team than most because they've outplayed the other team but coming on the heels of a bad loss we're getting dominated by a mediocre Coyotes team at home. This is absolutely unacceptable. Gallant needs to be fired for this game alone.

The only guy I think might make a difference is Sutter because he absolutely loves working with slow as shit teams. He's not available.

Anybody else is going to be the same thing.

Even Sutter, who I do sort of like, is going to over-rely on do-nothing vets. That's every single coach in this sport. If you don't coach that way, you don't get in the club.
