That makes no sense. If he redirected it with his glove, that’s no goal, right? Or is it like the skate/distinctive motion stuff where he has to like swat at it?

If he makes NO motion at it, it is just a deflection, the same if it goes off your knee or boot. It was clear he made no motion, at all. The slightest movement towards that moving puck, intentional, or not, would have negated the goal.

Who are they going to put in as interim HC who will do better? Is there a great coach sitting at home waiting for a call? Would you want Hitch to take over again? MacInnis has already said that he doesn't want to be a head coach in The NHL.
