...and who could clean the ice with his moustache in between periods.I miss the days when you could trade a 1st rounder and get guys like a Charlie Simmer who could come right in and give you 30+ goals and a point per game.
Well he can't just sit there and keep watching this but I get what you are saying. You gotta wonder if Sweely are nervous if another highly touted coach gets canned and goes on to win a cup within a few years. That happens again and it proves (shows what we all see) that management hold the most blame.
Charlie Simmer! What a steal for Harry when he got him that year. Those were the days when you could make moves all during the year and teams did. Now you have a team with 11 guys with no trade clauses and the rest of the guys should be in the AHL which means nobody else wants them as they have the same bunch on their team.I miss the days when you could trade a 1st rounder and get guys like a Charlie Simmer who could come right in and give you 30+ goals and a point per game.
Neither guy takes the ice away down low.Zadorov and Carlo sweet f***ing christ boys figure it out
I totally agree, Monty is a good choice to get rid of at this point imo. Canning Bruce was the mistake ultimately. Monty is a coach for a team full of structure and leadership that just need a good figure head to set the schedules.I think Monty has some real strengths as a coach but I'm also almost certain that at present he has too many flaws/limitations to coach a team to a Cup. Not the say he couldn't get there in time, but I'd wager it wouldn't be anytime soon. I couldn't see walking straight into another head coaching role like Cassidy did.
Hard to play a big & heavy game when you can't kill a penalty.Getting rid of Monty is not going to make this guys turn into scoring machines, lets temper the expectations a bit. We got rid of scoring for size and grit, there needed to be a middle ground but they went a block past that. Silver lining if this is it, perhaps they get a good pick for once.
Little details..People here hated Forbert but he was better on pk then Zadorov .Not sure how much more I can take watching him wander around.this team sucks
A big steaming pile of dog shitAs a staunch Monty defender (and I still think he's a good coach) we can't do this anymore.
He says Poitras is sent down because the kind doesn't grasp the Bruins structure. I don't think there's a player on the team who understands it. I don't think Monty knows. What the f*** are we looking at?
Put him behind the benchGood on Jaffe for laying it into them
It's a boys club. They went into the season out of shape think they'd steam room the league again. When they go down in the game they just curl up and give up . Heck even when they win half the time they need OTThis is going to be a looooong season . I have Center Ice and watch a ton of hockey . Bruins are the worst team I have seen .
I think they want a specific guy and don't know if he's available quite yet.Well he can't just sit there and keep watching this but I get what you are saying.
The roster has issues. No doubt.Getting rid of Monty is not going to make this guys turn into scoring machines, lets temper the expectations a bit. We got rid of scoring for size and grit, there needed to be a middle ground but they went a block past that. Silver lining if this is it, perhaps they get a good pick for once.
It’s just a stupid team. Acceptance helps.I am pissed off too...I will have to find a way to direct my anger. It is not the Bs that piss me off but I am not a happy lady and ready to lash out
Or skate, or try, or careHard to play a big & heavy game when you can't kill a penalty.
