I don't buy the fact that not ONE player stands out (in a positive way) right now and everyone has decided to suck at the same time. Starting to think there is a dressing room issue here.
I said this a few weeks ago, looks like a team that has completely quit on their coach, or has had some kind of serious lockerroom problem.

Team was looking ok in general play but not putting any real pressure on the Blues, PP was a failure as usual. Then some ill-discipline again, bad PK, and the wheels are off once more.

This group's confidence is shattered. I'm not sure if anyone could fix it, but we need to see someone try.

Watching Ottawa shut out the Leafs on my IPad

Ottawa plays with speed, structure and effort.....right now they are clearly a better bet for the playoffs than the team from Boston

Changes are need both behind the bench and in the locker room .....my player suggestion is Trent Fredrick while he still has some value

The move behind the bench becomes even more obvious
Plus their power play is structured and has constant movement. B's are so easy to defend when they a have the man advantage.

Yep....game, set and match for the Sens.

As a staunch Monty defender (and I still think he's a good coach) we can't do this anymore.

He says Poitras is sent down because the kind doesn't grasp the Bruins structure. I don't think there's a player on the team who understands it. I don't think Monty knows. What the f*** are we looking at?

You gotta wonder if Sweely are nervous if another highly touted coach gets canned and goes on to win a cup within a few years. That happens again and it proves (shows what we all see) that management hold the most blame.
Agree with this and why I don't see Monty fired anytime soon

I think Monty has some real strengths as a coach but I'm also almost certain that at present he has too many flaws/limitations to coach a team to a Cup. Not to say he couldn't get there in time, but I'd wager it wouldn't be anytime soon. I couldn't see walking straight into another head coaching role like Cassidy did.
