Would there be any benefit to them going around being super serious and miserable? Lots of sports psychology and historical precedent says no. Like all things it's a balance, need times to be serious and laser-focused, times for harsh truths and blunt speech, times too to relax a bit and have some fun. No team will succeed that isn't enjoying itself.
This roster does have an accountability problem, and an intensity problem, and a consistency problem. And more besides, I'm sure. But I'm not going to judge them or think they're not trying to address those things simply because they've got some smiles on their faces or are messing around for part of a practice. That's too narrow a view, IMO. Their balance and their whole approach might well be wrong. But this alone doesn't tell me that.
Make some tea and soup.Have a head cold, it's cold out ...can we PLEASE have a good game to watch
Show some interest and effort and most of all- some pride
I like when they are smiling because it means they are feeling good about their game. I haven't seen much of that this season.Agreed.
But I don't like seeing smiles and kidding around in games. After a goal is scored, OK. But that's it.
Leafs powerplay woke up .Bruins need to get that going .Florida has won 7 in a row. Toronto has won 3 in a row.
We need to start a win streak of our own tonight.
Lotsa guys do that up here. The sound of the tape coming off the roll makesOne of my teammates uses packing tape for his socks instead of hockey tape.
He says it equates to just $.06 per tape job.
As long as it isn't a rump roast. Rump roast and Bruins are NOT a good combo!Have a roast in the oven. It’s frigid and windy and I worked from home today so why the f*** not.
Beef and Bruins, at least if the team sucks tonight dinner will be good.
Another hour!DROP THE f***ING PUCK ALREADY!!!!!
Another hour!
Agreed.

I hope you are too!I hope I am correct about this as I think the Bruins break out of their scoring slump and win 6-2.
I took a nap and had coffee ️No way I make it to the end. That one hour just kills me.
Matty seems like such a good dude. The Jack part was well done and it was good to see the players and others talking with him.Watching behind the B. They are showing the stuff for Jack Edwards. That was well done. He seems to keep up with events as he asked Matty Falconer if he was getting any sleep. Matt and his wife just had their first baby (a girl).
Result tonight will be key to these smiles today. If its the same garbage effort then F them and there smilesIMO it is a good news if roster is loose and having fun.
They could grumble, say learned and empty phrases and then get no shots on goal OR they could have fun in practice working hard and concentrated and bring positive energy to the game and win or put on a good show
I like his shoot first mentalityHampus on PP1
