Daniyar #7 and Orekhov have looked very good this tournament. A lot of poise and hockey sense between the two. Wouldn't be surprised to see them drafted. They both play like pros.

Orekhov does a great job keeping the puck in the O zone and makes tape to tape passes consistently. Daniyar is more raw, but has the sense and positioning to be good. Both move the puck well.

honestly dont really get into prospects from these nations till this tourney and even then its not with an eye on numbers/names, so ill take your word for it. i guess im the other side of the spectrum. the random fan who tunes in after the holidays. i really love the world juniors.

ill take anything where the worlds best compete.

hope to see those guys over here in someones system some day. they look like they enjoy playing on NA ice too.

Kazakhstan is actually having a much better showing then the last time they were in the tournament 10 years ago in Ottawa where they gave up 49 goals in the round robin including a 9-0 lose to Germany.
