I mean, he excels more than the others at being bad
"Mario, that's your niche. Go out there and give us 110% at giving us 5% value. Nobody's as talented at appearing talentless as you!"
I mean, he excels more than the others at being bad
I didn’t say he hasn’t been bad. I said the obsession to be critical it seems solely of him (with the occasional Kunin Ruuta shot) is strange to me.

That's fine. That's not what I'm referring to.Because:
1) They often don't do anything good to offset the bad
and
2) they seem to be exempt from any sort of acknowledgement by the coaching staff that they are bad and face no consequences for their failings. If Thompson was directly responsible for 2 goals in a game he'd probably be sent back to the cuda. Ferraro can do it and still maintain his regular role with nobody batting an eye.

Ferraro is not helping you right now. That's fine. That's not what I'm referring to.
Listen, if you can find a single criticism of anyone else on the Sharks in this thread I'll let it go. Just one. (Hint: You won't). So either we played the most complete period in the history of hockey (outside of Mario) or there's this perverse need to spotlight only him and his mistakes (which there are plenty). The way I see it it's like hedging your bets. Either he does something bad that hurts the team allowing all the negative posts in the world, or he doesn't which helps the team. Win-win for some I guess.
Either way, I'll let it go. Regardless of how bad he's been he deserves better from a bunch of armchair GMs.
Pretty much everyone on this team is worthy of criticism, but Ferraro and Kunin are just the worst and they get nothing but praise from the orgThat's fine. That's not what I'm referring to.

What I see is a player who has way too much confidence in his own abilities. He makes bold plays at the dumbest times.I will only say one thing about Ferraro. He needs to speak to a sports psychologist. His biggest problem is his poise attribute is a 0. He panics whenever literally anything happens. He’s never calm when he has to make a play. The so called effort that he is lauded for is abject panic.
