Who came up with this road trip?

Into EWR to play the Devils, fly to Philly tonight, back to NYC to play 1 of the other 2 NYC teams, then off to PIT. How does a CA team come into EWR and not just knock out NYR/NYI/NJD in one go lol.
I'd assume (possibly incorrectly) that they wouldn't fly to Philly, but they'd take a bus or train. It's pretty close to Newark.

That was one of the worst games I've seen from a Sharks defenseman in years. Did Ferraro have a single good shift or play? Maybe that one nice clear (where he still had time to make a better play)...
I wonder if we can get Rick Westhead to investigate what’s the real reason Ferraro appears to be teflon when it comes to criticism from coaching staff and the Sharks beat reporters.

Remenda trying to defend that lazy hook late in the third was f***ing ridiculous.

I only could watch the final 14 or so mins, when we were deep in turtle mode. How was the rest of the game?

Was a pretty great showing for the first two periods even if we didn't get NJ's best effort. Managed to pull out the turtle in the end.

Celebrini amazingly still looks raw, like, making all kinds of bad decisions out there, but also makes something good happen every shift and makes plays out of nothing.

The Lund line also had a fair few dangerous chances and shifts.

Fun game! Frustrating for Devils fans.

Celebrini is like someone unleashed a chaotic force into the rink every time he’s out. He’s just flying around every shift, really fast and aggressive and seemingly everywhere, and he does something really elite almost every time he’s out there but then something kinda dumb like trying to backhand the puck through four opposing players but then somehow appears in the defensive zone to cover his own mistake and then again and again and again.

If Smith is mostly unnoticeable, you can’t help but notice Celebrini, it’s like someone let a crazed tiger loose and half the time it does a really impressive trick and the other half he eats a bunch of people.

It’s actually real fun.

Who would have predicted Thrun-Ceci would be a good pairing? Impressed with Thrun he had a really solid game and played 22:48 just behind Ceci at 22:54 for most ice time
I thought Thrun quietly had a nice game last time as well. Don’t hear his name a lot which in his case means he’s probably doing a decent job

Excellent, vivid storytelling here. And because he's so aggressive and active, he's a player who the puck "follows around." I do hope as he gets more refined, it becomes a bit more controlled. Can't be dipsy doodling on the OZ blue line with two guys on you and no D back... Got away with that 2x today.

But I said this last year, I do think he has some MacKinnon to his game, bull in a china shop aggression on the edge of chaos, if he can rein it in a little.

Yeah, I think he will find that refinement in time. It's wild that he's playing like this just a few games into his NHL career. It's a little bit like a wind-up toy that gets unleashed, but you can also see the amazing smarts and clever, creative play in the o-zone.

He does lose the puck more than you'd like when he's trying things, but that's part of the learning process, and even despite that he's really aware at recovering and making the right play in the process to try to shut down the opposing attack.

Seriously, I feel like because of Bedard's hype, we didn't get the full Celebrini hype machine, because holy **** he's a ridiculously exciting player. But he's also got that dawg in him and the brain and the compete and the ability to develop physically and...okay, I need to take a break for a minute here.

Ari, damn, you have some incredible hair!
