It's not even a physical decline for Tavares. His decision making is just so terrible. I'm scared to see what he looks like when he actually does physically decline over the next few years

I'm not really sure he will physically decline in any meaningful way over his contract. He's a gym rat, great shape. Largely been healthy and his game has never relied on speed.
