I think the issue with Nylander and Tavares this season is Tavares cannot keep pace with Nylander and starts so much deeper on breakout than Willy. So Nylander hits the line with speed and has no one with him, so instead of pushing forward and losing the puck he circles back to maintain control and wait for help to arrive and people perceive that as him not being aggressive enough when it's probably just him trying to manage the puck well and not cause turnovers

Wow Willy look like you give a shit out there eh

Nice bail on that one Willy

Wow, I don't Nylander could honestly give less of a f***. Holy shit. Time to just bench or scratch him and send a message. Unacceptable man.

Wow... not on the tape so Will packs it in. More and more unlikable with each passing game.

He had been on the ice for like 1:30 was probably completely gassed

He was tired, it was the end of his shift, some of you guys are just...wow.
Didn't realize he was at an end of a shift. But this is just conducive of the kind of the effort that plagues his game. My bad if he was on a long shift and I missed it, but this isn't just a one shift or one game thing. The guy has the skill to be an elite player, just doesn't have the effort level of guys like Marner or Matthews.

Yeah, I said a similar thing on Saturday.
