Lol. No. We're in year 6 of the Yzerplan, and they haven't made the playoffs since 2016. The time for patience is over. He needs to be on the hot seat if Detroit isn't firmly in the playoffs by the beginning of April.

I don't care about "just wait another 2-3 years". I operate in the here and now.

Next game is a guaranteed/scheduled loss. With today's loss it is 2 losses when we badly need points. And if Edvidsson is out, it is going to be ugly.

What's that got to do with anything I posted exactly? Me being unhappy with the team and posting trades(dumb or not) means I deserve to watch a bad team? TBH with you... the trade ideas are about to go the other way and I'll be posting TDL seller moves, so in the future you will be pumped for the rebuild assets.

Difference in people that have been critical and want change vs people that have supported these moves and are cool with the status quo.

I'm glad you keep receipts though, keep people accountable. I'm sure you 27k posts are all brilliant.

Lyon pooped this one away.

Though we yet again lift off the gas with the 3-1 lead. If it is the team doing it and not the coach, then he needs to get them to stop it, and if it is the coach telling them to play that way he needs to go. We do this every time we have a lead, put up some chances get a lead, playing pretty good and then we just stop making plays other than trying to get the puck out of our zone. It doesn't even work either which makes doing this incredible dumb as we get outshot/out chanced and almost always let the lead get away. If it at least worked there might be merit to it even if I hate that style, but it doesn't work.

I agree, he’s had enough time to get this thing at least in the right direction but when your d-core is 2 young, 1 fairly elite and another rising star then 5 just god awful d-men there’s a big big problem. He’s had 6 god damn years to make this D-core solid and it’s horrific. Time for him to be on the hot seat. I love yzerman the player and always will, but his GM’ing in Detroit has been suspect to say the least

Shotblock on the knee. Tried a single shift in the 3rd, didn’t come back after that.

Fester's contract expires end of season, he'll start Cam as much as possible from here on out. It's clearly obvious who the best goalie is.

Meanwhile Lyon is playing himself out of a contract extension.

it has nothing to do with coaching. we have just 5-7 players on the whole roster that can make and recieve passes. there is no coach in this world that can get something out of this team.
