Dominating as usual but terrible shooting percentage and terrible save percentage

Been like this literally almost every night

I think he needs a sports psych. He's like a young kreider that forgets his abilities the moment he loses confidence instead of sticking with it. Last year in the playoffs he was carrying the puck over the blue line and going through and around defenders. Now he looks like Dryden Hunt.

Its speed...he needs more of it, he can't get enough momentum to power past them or go around them. Once he gets faster it will work for him much like Kakko this year.

Long term, yeah you feel good about things, but the East is a juggernaut. Devils aren't slowing down. Islanders are in it and have a goalie that is on Shesty's level. Fortunately the Pens and Caps are maybe beginning their trends down.

Getting in will be tough. Points are going to be a premium all season. Halak was supposed to be an upgrade, I thought so too. He is not.
