Except that he’s been on the ice for 5 GA shorthanded in less PK time than Evans/Monahan who have been on for 6 and 5 respectively despite more PK ice time.

That I didn't know. If that's the case and there are players who PK better then him. Then yes, Suzuki's PK ice time should be cut back. But I'm agreeing only if there are better options. Not because of an increase in potential injuries.

It's remarkable that he is even in the NHL and we forget how raw he really is. It is tough to insulate him with so many young defensemen in the lineup. He will get better but needs quite a few more games in the league before figuring things out.
