I'm still cautiously optimistic, but if the players buy in EVERY game and execute, anything positive is possible...4 games in the next 6 days will be a tough run, I'll take 4 out of 8 points...

Off topic but I recommend Willet and the Four Roses warehouse and bottling tour if you haven't been there before.

Thanks. We did makers mark tour and heavin hill premium tasting today. Evan Williams experience and self guided whiskey row bar crawl yesterday. Hit buffalo trace barrel, hard hat and history tours on Friday as well as the four roses distillery tour.

Great win CBJ! 3-0 Vs top division teams is awesome

I hope Jones is back tomorrow. And either way I don't like Werenski getting 25 mins a night right now. We have 5 games in 7 nights and we want him pushing the pace of each shift, not just hanging on.

From what I saw he seems to be skating pretty well.. I think he's back tomorrow night.

Trotz is being a real sour-puss about the Foligno embellishment that led to the late power play and GWG lol

Saw the comments from Portzline's tweets.

My thing is, how to can you really tell if its embellishment or simply a gut instinct to move your head out of the way? Scary line to walk IMO.

Never thought this team would be 10-4-2 through 16 games with 8-1-1 in the last 10

this is fun to watch

It sure beats the hell out of last year eh? Torts was talking bout playing unselfish, picking up each other - I think his team is bought in to the program. Keep your focus Blue Jackets.. you boys are playing some pretty hockey, your not going against anymore backups between now and New Years. Curtis... time to warm up a little bud, we need you.

If Jarmo made a trade right now and screwed with the makeup of this team, I think there would be a March on NWA with pitchforks and knives. About all I would approve right now is Harrington for Towes and Keith. Absolutely love the way this team is playing. Much more of this and people around the league might notice an NHL team is in Ohio.

Yeah, it's near impossible to not react in that way to something flying in front of your face. Maybe he did it in an exaggerated way, but still.

Completely disagree. You never stand pat. If you can improve your team, you do it.

How would you improve this team? Who would you move to make it happen? The second part of that equation is the tough part. Heck, Wennberg is even starting to win face offs now!

I'd agree if the team just had great chemistry all the way through. But they don't. We still don't know what to do with Dubi and Jenner.

About Trotz complaining. Waaaa. We have seen that unfold on us many times. The Saad call earlier in the game was horrid. Agree with Lee, but what are the odds of getting the same refs for games later in season?

Let them think the only reason they lost was a bad call. Keep underestimating a team and they will keep beating you.

Must say i was impressed with the fight this team had today, it was well worth the trip to DC. I noticed that Jack still has defensive zone problems, Harrington isnt ready to be relied upon for anything yet, cant wait to have Jones back in the lineup with Jack getting third pairing minutes. Sam Gagner is a beast and not played enough 5 on 5

Foligno flinched, but he kept skating, he didn't sell it like a basketball player looking for a charge or a soccer player performing an opera death scene.

This. :handclap:

Very interested to see how the team responds tomorrow night. Second game of a back-to-back, CMac likely in net, back home against a team down in the standings that they "should" beat. Looking back on the schedule thus far, maybe the first time all season that they would be considered the "favorite" going into the game.

Well I think we're not going to catch teams by surprise moving forward. Should be interesting to see how good we really are.

Good game.
