Can't believe we are losing to Judy Garland & her friends
5 goal third period incoming!
For which team though?

In all fairness, Newhook is looking a lot like Anderson, a ton of skating without much happening.Anderson must be impossible to play with. Newhook and Suzuki are routinely open and he does nothing with the puck.
Yup.Slaf is showing how he impacts the ice his reach and size let's him carry the puck with power, draw defenders and make smart passes. He's becoming very noticeable for all the right reasons. Would love to see him pot one tonight.
The team is up against it for the third but you never know. Feel like the NHL might game manage in our favour
We wanted to get rid of Petry due to the wifeyJust atrocious. Like really... why did Habs get him? Hughes is never going to get Habs past the middle of the pack medioctiry... we just need to wait another 5-7 years before everyone realizes that. Next thing you know another decade is gone.
I seem to recall many of them saying he's an okayish backup and how if they played instead of Jarry down the stretch they would have made the playoffs last year.I creeped them online
NO. Because Habs had too many goalies and he was the only movable one. Allen makes too much.Yep. Because who needs decent goalies. Or skilled forwards...
Most encouraging thing I see is he's proving not only doesn't he have low IQ, he actually has high IQ. Add to that the size, skating and passing ability, their is some real potential there...needs to work on his release, though. He's really starting to make himself at home as a net presence too.Man, Slaf is getting there. What a great game. All over the ice.
Patience people, patience.
You know what would happen if you were to announce that you were turning this off (and presumably calling it a night) ?Vancouver is tough to play against, certainly improved over what I remember. Is this over my friends? Should I turn this off or should I continue watching?

Reminder that Jarry shat the bed against Chicago last season and Pittsburgh didn't make the playoffs because of that and our Florida pick went from lottery to Newhook.I seem to recall many of them saying he's an okayish backup and how if they played instead of Jarry down the stretch they would have made the playoffs last year.
Maybe he doesn't like Allen...Guhle could have picked up Allen's stick & given it to him. Maybe he didn't realize it was Allen's?
Yup. He sees the ice very well. He's adjusting to the pace of the game and is getting better on the aggregate. He WILL have bad games here and there, but he's been trending in the right direction. Most encouraging thing I see is he's proving not only doesn't he have low IQ, he actually has high IQ. It would help tremendously if he found his effective skating stride...........that would make things a lot easier and what I am waiting to emerge ( or develop) with him next. He's a project, learning the speed of the game. Tonight he's flashing great skill and using his size and reach to create space. It's going to come.
His style of play takes time to cultivate.
You would be the ring leader in getting the notifications started, wouldn't you?You know what would happen if you were to announce that you were turning this off (and presumably calling it a night) ?
It's not even close.Marty Biron calling Slaf best hab forward tonight
Why in the world would I do that? You would be the ring leader in getting the notifications started, wouldn't you?
I thought he was a better playmaker than that. Suzuki has little hope with players who when they do get him the puck are far too late. Nick is playing chess those two wingers are playing checkers. It's a very bad fit.In all fairness, Newhook is looking a lot like Anderson, a ton of skating without much happening.
