Can't believe we are losing to Judy Garland & her friends

5 goal third period incoming!

For which team though?

Slaf is showing how he impacts the ice his reach and size let's him carry the puck with power, draw defenders and make smart passes. He's becoming very noticeable for all the right reasons. Would love to see him pot one tonight.

The team is up against it for the third but you never know. Feel like the NHL might game manage in our favour
Yup.

Just atrocious. Like really... why did Habs get him? Hughes is never going to get Habs past the middle of the pack medioctiry... we just need to wait another 5-7 years before everyone realizes that. Next thing you know another decade is gone.
We wanted to get rid of Petry due to the wifey
Did you think Pittsburgh was gonna give us a top 3 def for old man Petry 🤣

Slaf will never get a point while on a line with Caufield. Any goal will probably be offside :sarcasm:

Man, Slaf is getting there. What a great game. All over the ice.

Patience people, patience.
Most encouraging thing I see is he's proving not only doesn't he have low IQ, he actually has high IQ. Add to that the size, skating and passing ability, their is some real potential there...needs to work on his release, though. He's really starting to make himself at home as a net presence too.

Vancouver is tough to play against, certainly improved over what I remember. Is this over my friends? Should I turn this off or should I continue watching?
You know what would happen if you were to announce that you were turning this off (and presumably calling it a night) ? :sarcasm:

Yup. He sees the ice very well. He's adjusting to the pace of the game and is getting better on the aggregate. He WILL have bad games here and there, but he's been trending in the right direction.

We really just need to wait. The skill and potential is so obviously there.

He's a project, learning the speed of the game. Tonight he's flashing great skill and using his size and reach to create space. It's going to come.

His style of play takes time to cultivate.
It would help tremendously if he found his effective skating stride...........that would make things a lot easier and what I am waiting to emerge ( or develop) with him next.

I knew it was the dude's fault with the bright green jacket on and sticking out like a million watt bulb in the stands for that 2nd goal when Allen lost his stick. Allen turned around looking for his stick and looked right at million watt bulb green jacket guy and he got blinded. :)
