Buffalo has missed the playoffs for like 15 years in a row and drafted top 10 like 400 times in those years . They are terrible.

factC'mon man, I've had Matheson's back consistently, he's needed on this team, his minute eating, fantasatic skating, and occasional jaw dropping hilights are most welcome. But his decisions with the puck, especially at the oppositions blue line are mind numbingly stupid, and they happen on a regular basis.

It has nothing to do with where he's from. He just needs to use his head so much better, especially being a veteran who's very much counted on by this team.

In fact, Matheson is putting a lot of pressure on his shoulders. He wants to make a difference. That and the fact that he needs to play a role to big for him, 'cause the young defensive core of the team
