C'mon man, I've had Matheson's back consistently, he's needed on this team, his minute eating, fantastic skating, and occasional jaw dropping highlights are most welcome. But his decisions with the puck, especially at the oppositions blue line are mind numbingly stupid, and they happen on a regular basis.

It has nothing to do with where he's from. He just needs to use his head so much better, especially being a veteran who's very much counted on by this team.
