We are only paying Korp 3 million on the cap.
Freddy needs to improve his game. He needs to be more than a fourth liner.
Geekie where are you?
Geekie is scratched and I am assuming Beecher was bench 6 minutes, but the real question is Elias where are you ?

I think it was Hampus Lindholm's best game. It looks like he's finally 100% healthy, he is playing more & more like he did when he first joined the Bruins. Great to see him score a goal. I'd like to see the defensemen shoot more just to keep the goalies honest.

Charlie Coyle continues to improve, he made another nice pass on Koepke's goal.

Korpi's still a work in progress but in Goalie Bob I trust. Overall he does play better each game and that is what matters.

Bruins scoring 4 goals was great, but how they scored was even better.

Someone actually made a play to someone else who finished it. Pasta set up H Lidholm, Pasta setup Zacha, Coyle setup Koepke, E Lindholm setup Marchand. No broken plays, lucky bounces off someone else's butt. Good passes, on the tape, handled and deposited.

Still, goalie gives up a bad goal 20 seconds after they take a lead. Can't score on the power play. Captain takes a bad penalty; PK can't kill it. Blew 2 goal lead in third period.

Frederic moved to the 4th line, ends up -2. Koepke a +1 playing with Coyle line. May be time for Freddy to have a seat upstairs. Seems to drag down every line he plays on.

Speaking of Lindholm, that was some kind of awful goaltending on his goal last night, eh?

next to the bench
Dumb penalties, see Loheri and Marchand, oh its ok he scored in the OT that should not have been, and he is the Captain.
The penalty on Brad was LAME

never heard of the guy before this year, epitome of keeping it simple. Look at his goal last night, does precisely what every amateur coach asks of a player as they navigate through their development years, drive to the post, stick on the ice, boom
I had never heard of him either but am thrilled with his play so far

Marchand speaking postgame about chemistry building with Elias lindholm---I definitely think we are starting to understand where each other goes .More reps we get it will come but the way Montgomery coaches ,he changes lines alot so could change at any point.but you are always trying to find chemistry as quick as u can with linemates.

4 assists last 5 games. Its tough the way Monty shifts things steady

including setting up the OT winner by robbing that Calgary dman blind before dishing it to Marchand.

Yes, I watched the game.

I don't comment on the game if I don't watch (which would be a rarity).

Bottom line, +1 is good. Does not mean Charlie played a great game. Or even a good one.

By the way, does it say on the stat sheet that McAvoy was caught way up ice on the tying goal?

Bad break there for everyone on the ice. Coyle made a good play to transition into the offensive zone and it looked like the Bruins were going to have a good scoring chance and extend the lead but he blew a tire. Sometimes shit happens.

answer honestly, do feel you are getting 8 mil worth out of this guy, honestly, I don't.

Salaries are on the rise as is the cap. He is getting $7.7m, which is about market-value for a top 6 center (and you'll always overpay a bit for a UFA). He'll get you 60+ points, plays a strong defensive game, is consistent, and wins faceoffs. What do you think the price tag for that should be?

I think he's been one of the better forwards for the team so far. Its only 15 games into his contract, so I'm not too worried about a luke warm production start that's been a team wide problem which has also hurt the numbers of one of the best point producers in the game ( Pasta ).

That was a must win last night blowing a 2 goal lead at home. Terrible call on Marcy but he has to know better with his reputation but great effort by all on the ice for the Winning goal. Korpi had a nice solid game and came up with Big saves. Monty like Brick said need to jell with two guys together ate least then find that 3 guy to fit.
