I wouldn't even be mad at this game in a vacuum, but we needed these points...if someone else could have buried the puck when we were already up 1-0 and controlling the game, we likely don't even get into this situation. Add that we'll be playing Winnipeg next for 4 in 6 on the road, we're already looking like ****, and now maybe down Kopitar, and that's bad news.

22 seconds left, Muzzin has control attemts a 4 foot pass:
"Muzzin.. passes to nobody, Senator get control and have time for one more rush"

Game over.

A simple pass to Carter and it at least a point!

The Kings have 2 wins and 8 losses in regulation this season. They're not really good in regulation.

Not much of an update on kopitar
Sutter said he go to Winnipeg with team

Sutter said zatkoff pulled himself from game and said he didn't know much else

This is all Muzzin had to do:
Option 1: pass it back to Doughty , avoiding the incoming pressure
Option 2: a simple pass to a waiting Carter ready to skate up the ice
Option 3: a total brain fart and pass it to no one.

He chose option 3: missed a simple pass, giving it right back to the Sens...game over!

A wrist shot into the goalie's chest that he juggled?

There are a lot of reasons EK is awesome, Budaj fumbling a routine wrist shot is not one of them

Watch the ten seconds before the goal and you'll understand.

Yes Budaj should have handled that better, but lesser defenseman won't even have gotten the shot to the net.

He reads the play and goes to where the puck is going instead of barreling towards the net. When the puck comes to him, he doesn't just throw it at the net. He know exactly what Dwight King is going to do, so he makes a subtle little move to buy his guy an extra second and find a shooting lane. Then he puts a hard shot on net which results in the goal. In the offensive zone he has all the instincts that Doughty has but he know how to get his shot on net. If Doughty could somehow learn this he would win the Norris every year.

Watching Karlsson is like watching a grandmaster playing speed chess. At full speed he is still three moves ahead of you.
