Shame on JD and Jarmo for going into this season without addressing the need for an (even) average backup goalie. Yes, there would have been a cost but I'm thinking that the cost of another losing season is going to cost a lot more in the area of, oh I don't know, missing the playoffs AGAIN and losing a significant number of the new fans. I never, ever wanted to again hear the phrase "same old Jackets" and yet here we are. (Caveat: I know we haven't seen our "real" team play yet but, damn, the McElhinney experiment is killing the season before the "real" team ever hits the ice.)
