Injuries are a terrible excuse. Boston was missing multiple top 15-20 players, along with a bunch of dman at the beginning of the year, and they had the best start in club history. This is just a decidedly mediocre club.

Always injured Andersen and Raanta in net? They aint no contender.

Canes are not afraid of the Avs speed. They never stop harassing you or your stick if you have the puck on it. Multiple guys attacking at times. They have learned the art of quick release, close in hooks, caps and holds that don't result in penalties.

It's very effective if you can execute it. And the Avs do not weather this approach easily.
