I think he doesn’t get enough credit for how many SH minutes he plays and how much of a work horse he is, but simultaneously I just can’t stand how passive and timid he comes off in every interview, basically since he was like 16. He’d be a healthy scratch for me. For at least one game when chytil gets back. He’s literally the worst player on the the team right now. It’s embarrassing. Game 14 he’s got one put back layup goal. And I can’t even remember the last time he generated a real chance for a himself. I half joked at beginning of season kakko would be sitting at 1 or 2 goals with no confidence by game 10. Well now it’s game 14. And it’s getting worse. I might trade him. I really might. He may breakout but it’s looking more and more likely it won’t be here. Zero chance he’s better than Othmann. And sure enough wheeler looks much better than he did on that line.

The difference in Jones-Schneider in their first two games together, and Jones-Schneider in these last four periods is night and day. They went from the biggest trainwreck pair I've ever seen, to fine.
