I'm not obsessed with any of these players but it's obvious the team is really hurting at center ice and Monahan resurrected his NHL career here and was very effective when healthy, that's all I am saying here.

We wouldn't have Hage if we didn't trade money.

I'd rather Hage for the future than a high injury risk and possible boat anchor contract in money

The blame isn't on Montemblow, but he blew his push.

You also need a big save from time to time, specially when your team just cut the lead by half.
You also need to not allow that chance in the first place, especially when all that would've been required is the forwards taking out their heads off their ass

Man, 3 goals on only 12 shots. We need Montembeault to be a lot better.

I know a lot of people are blaming Guhle on that 2nd goal, but he was double teamed. That happens a lot to our D. There's never any proper puck support.
He is better than Shesterkin who gave up 5 goals on 12 shots and got pulled :sarcasm:

insane that if you remove the kid that just came up this year, Hutson, this team would absolutely be not watchable. At all. Not even for Caufield. Obviously not for Slafkovsky.

And that's the point....imagine that...before being GREAT and a dangerous team to play for, you need to become WATCHABLE....We are not even there yet. Not even close. Demidov and Hage should fix some things.....But we need much more. At least 2 more years of tanking. Cause as I said, even this year, we will get a very good player...but nobody generational.
