Game 6 of the 3rd round was a good one and really He shouldn’t have to. Skinner is paid 2. Something million to be a passable goalie. We’re paying how much to be the lowest scoring team in the league? Put the shoe on the other foot. How do the goalies feel knowing that they literally never have run support and every goal they give up will decide the game?

I mean Skinner is who he is at this point, he's had overall here plenty of run support.

The Finals experience did nothing for his game, he's still the same ol' back up/1B tier goalie with all the same flaws (worked on nothing in the summer, lost no weight, still slow as a dump truck laterally). Yes the offense has been rancid for this short stretch to start the year, but he's not really doing anything to show he's an actual starter in this league either.

Yes. Thats the book on never been in playoffs Legendary minus player J Skinner. Guy can also disappear for stretches. I'd suggest not putting him with Nuge much.

Nice gut penalty from Nuge 200ft from his goal on a dumb play to totally change the game.

Dude 880 save % . Its impossible to go anywhere with that. If a team gets 30 shots on us Skinner is letting in 3-4 goals...how in the sweet jesus are you going to outscore that every night.

You know what’s impossible to go anywhere with. Averaging 2.something goals per game. There is no goalie out there that can help that level of ineptitude. We spend next to nothing on goaltending. It should be a weak point anything above mediocre is gravy and it shouldn’t matter because we should be able to score. Lots.

15 games in and I'd suggest Nuge has a lot of company. Majority of our forward group with 1 or zero goals.

I know everything analytically favours Bouchard as a guy who tilts the ice for us…but the defensive breakdowns he is consistently guilty of does not warrant more than Nurse’s contract. We can’t afford to pay him 10+ if this is what he is (nor can we really afford to lose him). What a shit show.
