We are in a much better position than Canucks as far as organization and prospect and roster, etc....If I was a Nucks fan, I would be discouraged, frankly. Just think we are in a rebuilding year and they are not.

Howdy guys. Yep, it's nice to see the kids perform. It may cause us to go a few choices later at the draft buuut... now the good free agents will Want to sign here because they'll believe the core has what it takes to win. Would Dubois and the likes sign his best years to the habs if the team sucks big time and does'nt trend up?

On a side note, damn i love our yound D... fn love Xhekaj... in 2-3 years, peoples are gonna talk about him like we talked about young Webber...

When masai ujiri took over raptors , many wanted him to sell the house to tank for wiggins.... instead the young guns played well, he developed the team from there and ditched the tank.... result, they only canadian team in any pro sports to win a title since the habs !

Winning with kids is good. people need to stop comlaining.
Had it been dandonv, galagher, hoffman , armia or drouin leading us to wins, then yes would be bad.

Canucks are a safe bet for bedard, mushkiv, or Fantilli. They're getting beat by us on a back to back.

Yeah, people being upset that the team is better than we expected make no sense.

Bedard would obviously be amazing, but even finishing in last doesn't guarantee anything. We got lucky to win the lotto last season, and we have a good young core who are improving. I'm sure we'll end up with another great piece or two in the first round this year. You can't just tank and hope for the best. It very rarely works in the NHL. It isn't the NBA where one star player can turn a bad team into a championship contender.
