Newhook reminds me of a faster Nail Yakupov. He always looks confused about where he’s going and where he’s supposed to be. Playing a couple of players like Newhook and Anderson together,(who aren’t the most “cerebral” guys) with Suzuki (who’s out there playing chess while they’re playing checkers) isn’t a good plan.
Slaf has had a really good game tonight. Skating well and really coming back hard defensively, throwing his weight around in both ends. Also give a shout to Barron and Kovacevic back there, they’re both playing pretty well!
