Matheson is playing too conservative and not using his feet, letting the puck come to him instead of attacking the puck seems to lead to Petryesque brainfarts. Same in the dzone as his first instinct needs to be to skate before passing.

Also Slafkovsky with the predictable zero vision forced pass to the slot for the third time in the game. He has made the same brain dead play over and over since before he was drafted.

For those complaining about the PP, you realize that in the last 10 games, Habs have the 9th best PP in the league?

This last PP was shit. But people are now just echoing what they've been saying the last few years even though now they have a successful PP.

I mean the same 3 players are doing everything on the PP. It's not like both lines and everyone contribute. If the play doesnt come from 1 of those 3 nothing ever happens.

It gives you leverage if you move or lose a goalie. You can't trade Allen if Monty is unsigned.
