To be fair the Quebec networks have always gushed over hometown stars around the league and huberdeau was the last one left. Matheson is the only top line or top pairing Quebecois in the league and he's the wrong kind to rds and tva. Even for goalies it's the same story where Levi is the best up and coming one and he's anglo. Monty is the only Quebecois starter in the league and he lost that spot.
