Fun game, tough to find space out there. Props to the Isles for survival.

We're starting to show signs of life but I wouldn't be surprised if/opposed to if there was a move soon.

Poor Quick is saving us a spot, let's hope he keeps it up while all the walking wounded find their legs and we figure out our team defense.

Bottom line is kopi and Gabs need to start earning their paycheck. It's sad when your 3rd line players are the only ones showing up.

PP: Too much talent. Too many choices. Too many options. Too many generals. Too many cooks in the kitchen. What I'm gonna do? What are we doing? Option A, B, C, D, EFGHIJKLMNOP! Ooops too late! Lost the puck, AGAIN!

I mean, I agree, but it's pretty clear they're still getting back into the game. You don't just come back from injuries and not skip a beat. It's gonna take some time.

I initially said 10 games of suckage...thinking with the injuries and Voynov it's gonna be more like 20.

Carter has not registered a point since last Kings home game 5-2 win over CBJ on Oct 26. All 3 of them have been pretty quite since the last homestand. #what70sline

I was listening to a TSN podcast yesterday and the subject of teams making moves and some of the rumored moves came up. Dreger seemed to think (as most Analysts have spoken to ) that GM's are making their list of needs up but few are reluctant to do so until the quarter season (20 game) mark. But he said he felt based on what he's heard that there will be quite a few players trading uniforms.
And if the Kings need to upgrade their D, so it wouldn't surprise me if DL didn't wait for the trade deadline to do that.

And I think the Canucks bring out the beast in the Kings and they usually fare well vs them, I think Sat they will have a solid effort.

Kings have yet to play fully armed and operational. Down the road I expect and want changes on the blueline but I'm still gonna give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

7-4-3, 6 games to go.

Makes sense. I have a hard time believing, after all this team has been through, that a move is made before several games with a remotely full lineup including Voynov. The D is atrocious, though.

Canucks are pretty damn good this year. Hopefully more than Quick shows up.

Yeah, we always get up for the Canucks, should be a good one with how they're playing too! Kinda shocked we're still in a decent spot. Sometimes feels wrong with how bad we've been lately.

Sigh. While the end result was just gaining one point, I'm rather grateful the Kings are still in the running.

As for the Islanders, they were hungrier this game and they showed it. Kudos to them.

Up next: Saturday vs Vancouver.

The fact the previous injuries got the 70s Line shut down faster than a nuclear plant had a lot to do with it. Even though Tyler showed initiative on his short handed goals, this past road trip showed how whole team needs to show initiative to score and close games.

While I am grateful for That 70s Line's emergence, the team knows fully well That 70s Line are not the "be-all and end-all" solution; they need help too, even from other red lines.

This; I look forward to Saturday's game.

Drew Doughty is playing some ugly/lazy hockey. My goodness he looks terrible. Never going to win a Norris playing like this Drew....

Reporter "Drew you guys be ready Saturday" ? Drew "Yeah we will be ready, we play ANH or Van or someone"....Reporter "Van" Drew "Yeah those guys" ...

Ughhh Drew....

I sadly agree. He's been hot garbage. Trying to do too much WHILE being lazy. And obviously trying to conserve energy for big minutes which is my big pet peeve with him. With Muzzin slowly getting back into the groove, and Greene/McNabb playing like Randy Jones/Preissing just angrier, we're up **** creek without a paddle when Doughty is off, too.

And I want to love Greene and McNabb. When they're on, they're everything about defense I like.
