Lol...we are not scoring. But it's not like the team is getting blown out every night. Lately the games we lost are by 1 goal
I only saw the last 10 minutes of the first, but a few things stood out for me.
Gonchar is useless with and without the puck, he still leads both teams in icetime.
Go figure.
Zibanejad actually looks a lot better than I thought he would. Plays an easy game with some tenacity. He's still not a first line center, perhaps third line, that's it. Good thing he gets some experience now though, too bad he doesn't have an elite winger to give him some easy points.
Anderson is pretty good.
One more thing.
Gonchar sucks.
Gonchar is useless with and without the puck, he still leads both teams in icetime.

He has been making some plays and been harder on the puck than the last few games. Zibanejad looked a bit hesitant in his new roll, but is setting in now.
ok.
I really hope so.
No one sees the value in Gonchar and it's annoying as ****.

Lol I understand that Andy is playing lights out but he can only do so much. I really hope the team can help him out a bit by getting a lead.

Cowen is a big physical, net clearing defender that can move the puck. I cannot see how we would not miss his presence on this team. He would make Gonchar look a hell of a lot better. He is also a big shot on the PP.

Because Gonchar is a better puck mover than Erik Karlsson. JK
Basically you need a puck mover and a good forward to enter the zone on a PP, so Karlsson acts like a forward.
