Are people in here talking about goaltending serious? A PP shot undefended in the slot goes in and you cave brains blame the goalie? We haven't scored a single goal on 22 scoring chances. A far bigger issue.

Goaltending been good to great the last 10 games too. Minus Stu's stinker against CBJ

2 goals against on 13 shots isnt good enough.

The first one was a wrister from 40 feet that went in.

I trust the offense to get going alot more than these trash tier goalies.

It's mainly the people who get a tummy ache over Skinner hate and bait post stuff about Pickard to counteract it.

I dont think anyone does that.

But repeating it over and over isnt going to make it true.

The biggest issue is the fact that our goalies are letting in half the shots, even when they should be easy saves.

Bratt was wide open in the slot, the Oilers aren't getting sticks in passing lanes which they were experts at in the playoffs and yes of course some saves would help. It's a collective effort of poor PKing.

I'm not going to throw the goalies under the bus when we're scoring at the same rate as the local chess club. Even without McDavid we should have enough forwards who can put the puck in the net yet here we are with the 28th ranked offense.

The sad reality is this team was prognosticated to have amazing forward depth and should have no trouble scoring. Well this is the Oilers so you have to appreciate the irony that the team can't score goals for the life of them.

They both suck. Difference is no one acts like Pickard is the second coming of Grant Fuhr.

Ironically, Skinner has shown himself to be more like the second coming of Kelly Hrudey.
