That’s interesting. You trade for a #1 but still have to shelter him against top talent. Good luck with that in the playoffs.
It's 2 games at most vs. a non-conference rival. You don't call it sheltering out loud, but it's a good one to consider running your backup who has won games against Edmonton in the past.

I know its high horse of me, but I prefer to NOT spoon feed billionaires my hard earned money if I can help it.

Pretty sure Bezos can do without your $7 a month.

Hope you typed that out using carrier pigeon because you don’t want to spoon feed billionaires using an iPhone or Android device…:sarcasm:

I paid for NHL Centre Ice. It better be included!

That’s what I’m counting on as well even though I have Prime.

No prime here. But I watch my games in Europe so it doesn't matter. Interested to watch this feed tonight.

Drai has really taken this team on his back this year and especially the last 2 games. Would like to see some others involved in the scoring tonight.

At least there’s a decent deal for Prime rn, I’m only gonna pay $5 a month for a couple months. Used to be subbed for years but Amazon as a whole just feels inhuman and I had to stop using it for a while.

It’s kind of shame we’re in a world where these super billionaires have taken over and likely captured our governments already. They’re becoming like the new royals, maybe they should study what happened to them before they squeeze the global society too hard for too long.

Anyway, I like hockey.

I just want a streaming option where i can have access to every NHL game played without blackouts in one place
thats not going to happen until the NHL and whoever owns the rights to broadcast games in this country agree to that in the next contract, if they do that.

Ive been streaming Sportsnet from Amazon since before last season, and to me it's just a great way to do it rather than pay for cable TV (yuck). Partly it was Roku's fault because Sportsnet didn't have an independent app. Plus I had Prime already. So to me it was a symbol of just a good company serving a customer who didn't want to have to subscribe through a computer and hook that up to a TV (or resort to illegal stream, which I've done and that also sucks)

Plus a lot of people are saying that Amazon's exclusive games are done really well

Same, I did it mostly because my SmartTV couldnt get a sportsnet app, so I just did it through prime.

You know what I’ve been off prime for a couple years but it has got a little bit since I’ve been gone. Prime video seems better for sure and they offer lots of little bonuses for games and stuff.

I mean I guess I could have Prime for some of those goodies and still shop locally for most things. I just want some of my neighbors to be able to have business otherwise we’ll all be Amazon employees someday lol

There might have been some revolutions before that though

Gotta shop at the mom and pops a bit more and don’t hand everything to the billionaires

Anyway, I like hockey.

WW1 was the real downfall of the monarchies.

Some great mom and pop shops are now gone sadly, Walmart kicked them in the nuts and Amazon knocked them out. Now it seems all you can be is a franchisee.

Amazon is showing the pregame rink and warmup right now soon to follow.
