Everything is a penalty in the new NHL. I remember two-handed chops, blatant trips, and holding with no calls. Times have changed.

Was Bobby Clarke even penalized for breaking that Russians ankle with his famous two handed chop?

If a team can get the PP percentage into the top 10 of the league it can be mediocre in other areas and still do fairly well, there are so many penalty calls for just about anything.
