Utah was ranked top 25 for the entire year the year before they entered the Pac-12 right? I went to the Oregon-ASU game this past year, oh man the first quarter was fun. Had a bunch of Oregon fans around me, but just the crowd experience, being in the end zone, everyone yelling at the top of their lungs, just awesome. I love those kind of crowds.
Lol on the Avs broadcast they even have a poll asking how many consecutive Overtimes Phoenix played in the playoffs last year. Answer is 4 ofcourse. Or is it 5? Can't remember.
Not sure about that. I just moved here from Arizona recently so I didn't really follow Utah until the past year. Oregon is unreal. It's too bad NAU football isn't bigger.
Powerplay.
ugh why is the vermette line our top pp unit?
What was the lineup for our PP's in the beginning of the season before Sullivan got injured?
I don't recall, it may have even been the doan, sullivan, vermette line. However it doesn't make sense to keep them as the #1 pp unit, since they're currently struggling. Especially when you consider how well the vrbata hanzal line has been on the pp as of late.
Special thanks to Mike Smith for bailing us out in the first period.
The Avs offense is what the 3 lines without Hanzal should be doing every shift. Throw it at the front, crash it. Hope for the best.
Anyone notice that Doan is often forechecking? I really would like to see the coaching staff cut down on that and put him in the neutral zone so they can avoid unnecessary miles on his tired old legs. Let Boedker and Korpi chase around the D.
