I'm not sure i've ever been so wrong about a signing except maybe thinking Alzner would be a semi useful player for us. I genuinely thought Hoffman's playmaking ability was underrated and his goal scoring would make up for his shortcomings elsewhere. Yikes

I've been trying to understand how the "giveaway" stats is counted for three years now.

It looks like perfect tape to tape passes to an opposing player isn't considered one...

His shot is no where near where it once was. It's like he doesn't practice it anymore. It's hard to have a great release when you can't handle the puck and let's face it Hoffman can't handle the puck like at all.
