It's not adjusting per se. It's adapting.

The rest of the league got faster. So, the recipe of 2-3 years ago doesn't quite work. Sully hasn't adjusted to that.

It's like his refusal to match lines at home. He says 'we're going to do what we do and that's it'. It's eerily similar to Bylsma.

I thought during the Canada trip that he had adjusted to have them hang back in the NZ and play a more clogging style of trap, but either that seems to have gone or other teams have now adjusted...

This team will have lost as many games as they have won.

Oleksiak with a pretty BS play.

Well, looks like the Isles will take over first in the division and good Lord, BUF with 9 goals (and Sheary with 2 points)...there are some teams that know how to play at home....and then there are the Pens...

I don't get the love for Oleksiak in some circles around here.

He's a dog. A dog with fewer fleas than Maatta or JMFJ or Poop, I suppose, but outside of that stint with Ian Cole, he's exactly what he was in Dallas . . . and that is NOT a good thing.

The former. We were playing that 1-2-2 more passively. Not since we returned. You seeing the same @Scandale du Jour?

That said, this is just ass tonight.

I see a lot of guys gliding and not moving their feet. I see crap gap control (we are giving space in the NZ AND giving up the blue line easily).

I do not care what system we play, it won't work if the basics are not there.

Offensively, we are trying a lot of fancy passing, but we are not supporting the puck. Result? Turnover after turnover.

Our puck support is more often than not ****.

Don't even get me started on the 'puck support' on the PP.
