Probably not. I understand your frustration with how they're managing Guhle's ice-time. Not sure whether they're right in holding him back, would want to see him on the PP.And is Matheson healthy? f*** I hope not man.
If this kid doesn't pan out as a top d-man boy oh boy is there going to be hell to pay.
I bet part of their motivation tonight is the embarrassing loss they were handed last night -I think they were up 4-1 or something like that, and lost in OT. That had to be frustrating. Plus, although not unexpectedly, we suck. I just wonder if / when MSL is going to snap, (sit someone, pull him out of the lineup, etc.), ofrif he thinks this team isn't there yet and he's practicing "aggressive patience" (or whatever he called it).3 shots on net and the 1st is almost over.
Tampa isn't even a "very good" team this year.
still has a lot of work to do,
We'll pick a LD dman.draft a forward with that top 5 pick ok?
Two of those were quite weak too. I mean TB deserve to be lading 2-0 no doubt but it was tough period for Allen. There is not a worst time for Allen to give 4 goals in a period than today. None.
They’re good. They just miss vasy so they have to score more goals3 shots on net and the 1st is almost over.

The crumbling was predicted, I guess it's coming sooner than most expected.Still too good for the bottom 5?
I've been watching the Habs for 23 years, and on this board since 2002. The narrative has NEVER changed. I can't recall a single season where people didn't hate the coaching. And I'm willing to bet it's been like this for a hundred years. At some point, you gotta start thinking the problem is you.I am so glad someone else starting to see it.
By passing on Michkov Reinbacher has to end up as a number 1 dman, it's asking a lot.it's still so early that anything can happen but when you look at the early results from Cooley, Kulich, Michkov to what Slaf, Mesar and Reinbacher are doing, I think it's safe to be a little concerned.
But Reinbacher could end up the next Weber and Slaf/Mesar could be good NHLers one day, who knows but boy are there some red flags popping up. If I'm Hughes/Gorton I don't think I would be sleeping as well cause if they did f*** this up ala KK/Galchenyuk, etc... it's just going to push things back even further as we must find high end players somewhere.
The depressing thing is that rebuilds are not an exact science. Some teams are on a 12 year rebuilding phase and are still not good.Lets remember that this is essentially a tank year where we can still try for the sake of the youth without hurting our pick. This is what the team might look like at its worst, but there will be nights where they look incredible. As long as we remember that the team is actually trending up (and it is, with years to go still) it becomes a little easier to stomach these Ls.
But i'll say this, I will never stop hating Kucherov.

But if it helps y'all feel better about the state of affairs, hey you do you.
Yeah but again nobody here has the skills to make those evaluations atm. It's fine to be concerned but people are way to quick to jump to conclusion. Good example is Zegras. Maybe it's just a rough start for him but maybe also people were to quick to be impressed with him filling the net playing ice capades with a losing team no pressure to win no pressure to play defense. It's very hard to evaluate players properly when the pressure to win and play defense is not there which is the case with mtl, arizona, flyers, sj, etcit's still so early that anything can happen but when you look at the early results from Cooley, Kulich, Michkov to what Slaf, Mesar and Reinbacher are doing, I think it's safe to be a little concerned.

contending? maybe. but they'll be in the playoffs sooner than later (for better or worse)The depressing thing is that rebuilds are not an exact science. Some teams are on a 12 year rebuilding phase and are still not good.
I may die before I see another contending Habs team.
